Why doesn't Sizzleworks register on-line?

We want your involvement with sizzleworks to be of the highest quality, from the very beginning, even before you walk through the door. Our staff strives to provide you a positive experience, thus, we prefer the more personal touch of registering you in person or by telephone.

Is it possible to set up a private event at Sizzleworks?

Yes, setting up a private event at sizzleworks is easy -- give us a call to set a date. Then, you choose the menu, invite your friends, and we do the rest!

How many students are in a class?

Regularly scheduled hands-on classes are usually limited to 16 students.

Describe what you mean by a "hands-on" experience.

We believe learning to cook involves experiencing the sensory stimulation of cooking, working with knives, experiencing sauté and plating food for presentation, all of which are best learned by doing. You will be cooking various parts of the menu, with supervision and guidance. Should you prefer just to watch, that is your option. Either way, you have direct one-on-one interaction for questions and dialogue with the chef.

Will I receive a taste portion or a full meal?

Most of our classes include a full meal, unless the menu is for a specialty, ie. chocolate, or desserts.

Do you offer vegetarian classes?

We typically do not schedule exclusive vegetarian classes, but most of our menus can be adjusted to accommodate dietary preferences and needs.

Do you cater parties?

We do not have the staff or facilities to offer catering.

Can I schedule your classroom for meetings?

Our classroom is available for rent when it is not scheduled for other events.

Will your videos work on a Mac?

Yes. Our videos are designed for both MAC and PCs.

Will I be cooking or watching?

Our classes are hands-on, which means you are cooking, with supervision and guidance. Should you prefer just to watch, that is your option.

If I purchase a gift certificate, how does the person register for class?

To register for a class using a gift certificate, simply choose a class from the schedule, then contact us via email or by telephone to register. We will need the gift certificate number, located in the lower right corner, for registration.

How long are your gift certificates valid?

Promotional certificates are valid for 3 months. Purchased gift certificates never expire.

What if I need to cancel my registration?

Class cancellations are accepted with full refund or credit transferred to another class up to one week prior to scheduled class. If a student cannot attend, they may send a substitute in their place. Cancellations made fewer than 7 days before the class date are non-refundable and non-transferable.
